While not the best place for students, it provides the links to numerous resources and a world of pimary sources--it� 39;s best feature. Easily organized by category, this site links resource that could make creating lesson plans, work sheets and PowerPoints a breeze--especi ally if you have some idea about what you want--a specific battle map, a photograph of a presidend, etc. So if you are planning a unit about the Civil War, this could be a great resource. Check it out!
• Welcome to the White House: A great resource for life in general, the White House Web site is one of the best resources for finding out about today's executive branch. It is interactive and current. Funded by the government and organized and run by the federal executive branch, it can be counted on to be accurate and current. It also include historical information about the White House and former presidents, and nice resource no matter the time in American history that you are interested.
